SUMMER SEASON DATES (August 2025 to March 2026)
- Tiny Tots run on Thursday evenings from 6:00pm sharpe and run for approximately 1 hour.
- Club Competitions for 6's and above run on Friday evenings from 12th September 2025 to early March.
- 6-9's start at 6pm sharpe, then our 10+ groups commence at 7:30pm.
- Little Athletics, NSW Athletics & the NSW Masters Association summer season events run variously from late August to May 2025 including national events. Season calendars will be available on our website & updated accordingly.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE YOU REGISTER
PLEASE READ!
CLUB COMPETITION NIGHT REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL FAMILIES
- At least ONE parent/carer per family is required to be AT THE OVAL AT ALL TIMES while your athletes are present at Club Competitions on Fridays. This is for the safety and wellbeing of your own children as we are not a baby sitting service.
- For Tots to 6s: At least ONE parent/carer must remain with and supervise/assist their athlete and group leader during the session.
- For 7s-13s: At least ONE parent/carer per family is required to undertake a parent duty. This may include things such as starting, time-keeping, Set-up, BBQ assistance and canteen assistance. We are a volunteer-run club and as such we require everyone to help in order to run a full program of events each week. (If you are physically or for another reason unable to undertake any available duty, please contact us – there are plenty of admin/behind the scenes duties we also need help with!)
- U14 to Seniors: At least ONE parent/carer is recommended to stay and assist the athletes.
- U14 to Seniors: Will be required to assist with Pack Down
At the start of each session, parents/carers must let their athlete(s)’ respective Age Managers know which duty they are on, and when not on a rostered duty must be actively assisting an Age Manager supervise athletes or run events.
Zone, Regional & NSW Athletics events require parent assistance to run the competition.
- Families, friends and older athletes will be required at times to volunteer to assist officials running events. At major events, the Club will be assigned duties which must be fulfilled, but we encourage all our athletic families to assist whenever they can/is needed.
Below you will have two options to select for registration.
NEW MEMBER - This is for any athlete that has NOT registered with The Ponds, Athletics NSW or any other club previously.
When setting up your child’s registrations, you will be required to upload a copy of your child’s Birth Certificate, or Passport as Proof of Age. This will only be required for the initial setup of the athletes profile. Please ensure you have a copy of this Proof of Age ready when you register. (PDF, JPG, PNG formats are accepted)
RETURNING MEMBER - For athletes (or volunteers) that have previously registered with Athletics NSW, The Ponds or any other registered athletics club in NSW.
There is no requirement to provide Proof of Age (for athletes) as this was done last season.
- Membership commences on the 1st of September and expires on the 30th of August the following year.
- Membership fees are a combination of Athletics NSW/Little Athletics NSW and The Ponds Little Athletics fees.
- The Ponds LAC Summer season 2025/26 runs from September 2025 to March 2026.
Athletics is run entirely by volunteers/parent helpers and as such parents are required to assist on Friday evenings. If you are unable to help, we ask that you consider this prior to registering. This can be anything from helping on the BBQ to being an age manager or just helping the age manager run the events during the evening – timekeeping, measuring, writing down results etc. None of the jobs are very difficult and we are happy to teach you.
Parents will be provided with a registration link after signing up to offer their assistance. You will not be able to pick up you registration pack until you have signed up.
REGISTRATION DAY
Our registration day is at Peel Reserve on the following days:
- Sunday 24th August 2025 from 2-4:30pm
- Sunday 31st August 2025 from 2-4:30pm
On these days you can collect your registration pack, which includes your bib & age patch along with purchasing any uniform items on the day.
UNIFORM & COMPETITION BIBS
- All athletes are required to wear The Ponds Athletics Uniform on competition nights and at gala days or ANSW events.
- This is NOT included in your membership fees.
- All athletes MUST have the Singlet or Crop top.
- Club Shorts & Tights are not compulsory but athletes must wear BLACK bottoms if they choose not to wear the club bottoms.
- Athletes will not be able to participate if they do not have their registration bib & age patch "NO BIB, NO RUN"
SEASON FEES
Please remember that registration fees are non-refundable once you have progressed through to payment.

* Sibling discount will apply as you progress through the resitration.
** There are merchant/platform fees at check out.
TRANSFERRING CLUBS
- At the start of a new season athletes pick their club of choice without a formal transfer process.
- If the season has commenced and you are already registered with a club you can only move clubs once per year.
- To move to another club, you must contact your club or the club you wish to move to and request an Athlete Transfer.
- If you wish to move clubs prior to a championship event you must request the transfer at least 2 weeks prior to the event.
- Both clubs must approve the transfer request before it is authorised by Athletics NSW.
Please note: there is a $40.00 transfer fee payable to Athletics NSW & no refund from the club.
