MANDATORY UNIFORM

Each Little Athletics Centre has its own uniform and Little Athletics NSW, requires that all athletes must wear the Centre uniform. “No uniform, No run!”

Accordingly, athletes must compete in the The Ponds Little Athletics Centre uniform each Friday, wearing their specific Athlete’s Number on their top front. (Parents please don’t get sibling numbers mixed, it confuses the computer!)

All athletes must wear their TPLAC uniform with patches in the correct spot from our Tiny Tots to our Seniors.

✅ McDonald’s Bib Number – centre of the top
✅ Coles Age Patch – right side of the top, above the registration number to ensure the logo is not covered (where possible)

👉 If your top is smaller, the Coles patch can overlap slightly, but it must not cover the McDonald’s logo or number.

Uniforms Prices

ALL UNIFORM ITEMS ARE $40 EACH - Singlet Top, Crop Top, Shorts and Tights.

** Club shorts are not mandatory, but black must be worn if not wearing the club shorts

Footwear

Appropriate footwear is compulsory for all competitors in all events.

No competitor may wear football boots or cleats in any event.
Competitors in the U9-U10 age group may not wear spike shoes.
Competitors in the U11‐U17 age groups may wear spike shoes in events run entirely in lanes, long jump, triple jump, high jump and javelin.
Competitors in the U13-U17 age groups may wear spike shoes in all of the events listed in 1.4 iv, as well as events not run entirely within lanes, except walks.
All spike shoes must be worn with all holes filled with a complete set of spikes, with no more than 2 blanks/slugs installed.
Spike shoes must only be worn during the event and are not to be worn to and from the event.
Any number of spikes up to 11 may be accommodated on each shoe, but the number of spike positions shall not exceed 11.
Spike length (subject to any further constraint from ground policies):

a) Synthetic Track 7mm Maximum

High/Long/Triple/Javelin 9mm Maximum

b) Grass High/Long/Triple/Javelin 12mm Maximum
