Nominations are now open for the 2025 West Met Zone Championships for all eligible athletes in the U7–U20 age groups.

The Zone Championships are a fun and exciting step up in the Little Athletics season! It’s where athletes from local clubs come together to compete, make new friends, and proudly represent their club. The weekend offers a great mix of friendly competition and team spirit, with the chance for athletes to qualify for the Regional Championships later in the season.

Registering is quick and easy, but must be done for EACH athlete.

1. Click the link above and select “Register.”

2. Log in using the athlete’s username and password.

   • This is the same log in that you used to register your child for the 2025/26 Season.

   • Usernames were emailed to families when registering for the season.

   • If unsure, select “Forgot login details” and enter either the username or email address.

3. If families can’t locate login details, contact us at tplacregistrar@gmail.com

4. Once logged in, select the athlete’s events. The system automatically limits you to the correct age group and the number of events allowed.

After submitting, you’ll receive a confirmation receipt for $0.

A club duty sign-up link will be shared closer to the event. Duties will be allocated to clubs based on athlete entry numbers.

Key Reminders:

• 🕛 Nominations close: Midnight, Monday 3 November 2025

• 🏃‍♀️ U7–U11: Nominate up to 4 events

• 🏃‍♂️ U12–U20: Nominate up to 6 events

• 🏅 Each club can nominate up to 6 athletes per event. If numbers exceed this, we’ll contact you to adjust entries.

• ✏️ Athletes can only log in and nominate once — no edits after submission. 

A draft event schedule (based on last year’s program) is on the event page and may change depending on entry numbers.

The Ponds LAC committee makes a commitment to our athletes every year to cover the cost of entry for this competition. In return, we ask that you commit to your selected events to ensure that thre are no empty lanes or other athletes missed out.
